    It's been a while I should have wrote something about "Chez Mathilde".

    Located next to the fresh traditional market of the "Capucins", you can enjoy an authentic, home made, family style cooking at Mathilde.

    Mathilde is the name of the (old) owner of the place.You cannot miss her and her purple hairs.
    She uses only fresh local product from the nearby market. therefore menu can vary depending on what's available in the market so make sure you ask what's available upfront.
    Prices range from 7 to 11 euros (a real bargain!) you'll enjoy fresh meat products, steaks, home made fries and she sometime has a daily special!

    Go there, you'll meet a lot of friendly local, you'll meet a legend of Bordeaux's Capucins restaurant (the specialty there is the grilled entrecote / rib steak)and hear amazing stories!
    Outdoor seating available. You can also just seat and enjoy a coffee or a beer...
